If you have ever been to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, you would have surely heard or come across the Rideau Canal. It’s the world’s largest skating rink! And that’s where  Alexis and Jesse wanted to start off their engagement photoshoot - awesome idea!

We had an amazing time dodging people, having the two of them skate around all into eachother, using one of those skate-o-toboggan thingies and even snacking on Canada’s best winter treat…the almighty Beavertail! How famous are these beavertails you ask? Famous enough that even President Barack Obama had one during his first visit to Canada yesterday! (and no…it’s not a real beaver’s tail, it’s a delicious yummy pastry that you must devour next time you’re visiting the capital)… Thanks for the amazing treat you guys. :)

Anyways, back to the almost newlyweds. After having a fantastic time skating on the canal we chatted and warmed up at a little bistro before setting off down the street for some more gorgeous photos near the historic part of town called the Glebe. Congratulations again and we are incredibly excited to photograph your wedding, see you in the summer!!!
