Jackie + George
Written by Magda and Bartek on September 23, 2009 – 10:15 pm - Jackie and George had an 11 person wedding. Yes. And 11 person wedding! How cool is that? When we first found out that it was going to be a really small wedding we got very excited because we love different. We knew it was going to be special…and we were right :)
It was such a beautifully intimate day for them and everyone around them. Because there were literally only the closest family members present, everyone was extremely relaxed and Jackie and George focused their attention entirely on eachother! They decided to hold their unique wedding in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec which is a couple of hours just north of Montreal. They rented out Le Refuge Bed and Breakfast for the whole weekend which was just across the lake from the famous ski hill and Mont-Tremblant so the views were spectacular. It really was a magical place to get married.
Jackie and George oozed love. Seriously. The entire time we were taking photos of these two, we felt such sincerity in their words and their gazes into eachother. It makes our hearts melt when couples are this in love! Oh, and their vows were to die for!!! Magda cried… but she had her camera to hide behind ;)

The wedding was Greek Orthodox and the priest was awesome!
Finally married! Yay! And now we were off to the photoshoot…
The first stop was the marina just opposite Mont-Tremblant:

Then we headed over to the Mont-Tremblant village which has a really cool variety of architecture and colors.

Tania + Bo: Wedding!
Written by Magda and Bartek on September 9, 2009 – 6:50 pm - We went over to Tania’s house in the morning to capture her time getting ready. I asked Tania if I could take pictures of her dress and shoes, and she pointed me to the dress and handed me her shoes… a box from…Puma? I opened it, and sure enough inside was a pair of white Puma sneakers…Two years ago at Christmas, Bo came over for the first official time to meet Tania’s parents and ended up helping them out with putting up the Christmas lights. As Tania and Bo were leaving to go to dinner, Tania’s mom went up to Bo and told him… “I have to tell you something…it may not last. My daughter is a runner”. Bo was so smitten with Tania, that he politely replied “I will prove you wrong, If she runs…I’ll buy her running shoes”.
On their wedding day, as Tania walked up to the altar where Bo was waiting she lifted her dress revealing her running shoes that she had on! She bent down, took off her pumps, and handed them over to her soon to be husband, telling him shes not running this time. Wooohoo!!!! :)
Even though the weather was slightly uncooperative, Tania and Bo’s wedding couldn’t be more beautiful! We did a wonderful photosession in Manotick at Watson’s Mill and continued the celebrations at the Stonebridge Golf and Country Club. Everyone was full of smiles, laugher and tears of joy. Thank you all and we hope your love with eachother grows stronger every day!
