Brittany + Chris: a fabulous Vancouver wedding!
Written by Magda and Bartek on June 14, 2010 – 10:47 pm - So we recently shot a fabulously gorgeous wedding in Vancouver! Not only was this in one of our favourite cities in Canada but it was for an old friend of mine who I worked with at my first animation job years ago!
Brittany and Chris picked a really classy and beautifully situated golf resort to get married in, Rowena’s Inn on the River at the Sand Piper Golf Club. It was located in Harrison Mills about an hour away from Vancouver and all you had around you was mountains and water. A very cozy and romantic location!
The amazing effort that Brittany put into the day making sure everything and everyone looked their very best really made all the difference. Her little details of type writers, bird cages, boxes, bows were so cute and perfect! She really has a talent for this. And did you know this girl runs her own business and is a hot jewellery designer? Check out her site: www.lovetypeb.com !!! Everyone oozed class and noone was afraid to have as much fun as they could all day long!
And what really struck us was how Brittany and Chris never forgot to remind everyone about their strong faith in God! That was the most important part of their special day…it was really touching.
Thank you all for an amazing time, we enjoyed capturing your wedding! Here are some if our favourites of the day :)
The dress…

The boquet…

The bride…

Wow…

Chris looked rather dapper if I do say so myself

Here is Rowena’s Inn. What a beautiful place inside and out.

And this is what I mean when I said Brittany has a talent for this stuff…

Straight out of a magazine these girls were, I swear!

One of Bartek’s favourite shots of the guys:

I have no words for this next one

Brittany got her hair re-done for the reception. Hawt!

Time to paaaaarrrrtay!!!

A moment during one of the touching speeches…

And their first dance!!!

We leave you with even more photos from Brittany and Chris’ wedding if you click play below! :)

Magda + Rafal
Written by Bartek on May 17, 2010 – 9:26 pm - Magda and I are so happy to start off the 2010 wedding season with a really special one. A magical wedding in our home land… Poland… Magda and Rafal live here just like us in Montreal, but they wanted to have their wedding in their home country, Poland. They chose to have it in the Janowice Palace a top a rolling hill in the south eastern part of Poland. We were lucky to follow them there to capture their beautiful day and as a perk spend a few beautiful and incredibly fun nights with them and their family and friends!
Magda and Rafal made it easy for us to take their photos since they’re so photogenic but we had a wide range of awesome shooting locations. And that means that we couldn’t decide on only a few favourites but instead had to put a lot ;)
We wish you guys a lifetime of health and happiness in your marriage!!!
Here are our best shots of the day…

Magda’s dad getting ready too!

Rafal and his best man, Adam. Chillin’ like villains by the tower.

Poland really has no shortage of ridiculously awesome churches. This one is the Tarnow Cathedral founded in 1346!

There is a really neat tradition in the town of Tarnow. Kids and adolescents find out when there is a marriage and quickly block off the newlywed couple’s path with sting. In order for them to let them through, they must be bribed with either candy or some stronger stuff for the adults ;) Really cute!

One of my favourite shots! Magda took this one:

Models? I think so!

Their first dance…

sandy stobbe: Dear Magda and Bartek, I’m crying right now. You have captured memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Thank you for working so hard that day and using your talent and being a team . When I saw that you had put costumes on during the dance I was so happy because you were having fun as well as working hard. I can’t say enough about how much this means to me. I’m so glad you were part of that special day. sandy (Jun 14, 2010 11:14 pm)
